Magic, Mayhem & Freezing Fingertips at The Bolands Mills Bizarre Bazaar

This past weekend I performed at The Bolands Mills Bizarre Bazaar — eight shows across two days, outdoors, in the kind of cold that makes you question every life choice… but the audiences made it worth every second. A warm crowd will always beat a warm room, and Dublin showed up ready for wonder.

As many of you know, I perform as Rua — Ireland’s leading magician and mentalist, specialising in close-up magic, psychological illusions, and high-impact entertainment for corporate events, weddings and private parties. Events like this are a great reminder of why I love what I do: real people, real reactions, real magic.

I was joined by the brilliant Jack Wise — comedy magician, sword swallower, and all-round gentleman of the bizarre — and together we turned the newly restored Bolands Mills into a playground of mystery.
Across the weekend I mixed mind-reading, sleight-of-hand, vanishing rings, games of chance and a healthy dash of mischievous mentalism. Card magic in the cold should honestly qualify as a winter sport, but the audiences were incredible — engaged, curious, and wonderfully up for the ride.
If you were there, thank you. If you missed it and you’re planning an event — from a company Christmas party to a wedding reception, brand launch, festival, or private celebration — this is exactly the kind of impactful, unforgettable performance I bring to every booking.
